Castle Street

Castle Street is known for being one of the oldest destinations in Liverpool and comprises several buildings with architectural significance. Castle Street connects the commercial business district to the north with the prime retail district (Liverpool One, Lord Street, Church Street) to the south.

Historically, Castle Street was the banking epicentre of the city. Over the last decade, Castle Street has transformed itself into one of the premier food and beverage destinations in the city, where patrons have a broad choice of options via national and local operators to include San Carlo, The Ivy, Rudy’s Pizza, Liverpool Gin Distillery and more.

• 17 Castle Street acting on behalf of Greggs in Rent Review negotiations (2024)
• 31 Castle Street letting to The Ivy (2024)
• 8 Castle Street letting to SO Salsa t/a Ours (2025)

Mason Owen also played an instrumental part in introducing international restaurant chain Hawksmoor to Liverpool in 2022. Representing Legal & General, Mason Owen brokered a deal with Hawksmoor to take part of India Buildings, which is a landmark building in the city and is situated close to Castle Street.

In addition to the above, Mason Owen also manages 10-18 Castle Street on behalf of private clients.
